Richard Weeks is senior vice president in the Internet Services Group for Wells Fargo. A 19-year veteran of the company, Richard is responsible for managing online strategy and new product development for small business service platforms including Wells Fargo Business Online® Banking. Under his leadership, Wells Fargos Business Online Banking was ranked #1 by Keynote in their Second Quarter 2009 and 2010 Small Business Scorecard; Wells Fargo was awarded Monarch Innovation Awards in 2010 by Barlow Research for their Wells Fargo Business Insight series and in 2009 for Foreign Exchange Online and Business Spending Report with Budget Watch; and Wells Fargo earned the #1 ranking in Barlow Researchs Business Internet Banking Test Drive for three years running 2006-2008. In 2007, Wells Fargo was recognized for best online customer experience for small business customers by Change Sciences Group, and its Wells Fargo Business Online® Banking was honored with Greenwich Associates Excellence in Business Banking Award.Richard began his financial services career in 1984 as a customer service representative and teller at Wells Fargo. Then after graduating from college, Richard spent four years in beverage sales and management with the E & J Gallo winery. He rejoined Wells Fargo in 1994 as a personal banking manager in San Francisco and later served as Service Quality manager for the Phone Bank in 1996. He became a team member of Wells Fargos Internet Services group (ISG) in 1999 after completing a year-long rotational program for MBA graduates. He holds an MBA from University of San Francisco, where he graduated with honors, and a bachelors degree in business administration from University of Southern California. Richard has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, where he has taught a range of marketing courses. Richard and his wife are parents of four children.
