Sanjay Gupta is the Chief Marketing Officer for Ally Financial Services. In this position, he is responsible for global marketing and brand strategy, bank deposits and customer operations, product innovation and e-commerce for the company. Previously, Sanjay was responsible for Global Consumer & Small Business Marketing at Bank of America. Sanjay, as the E-Commerce & ATM executive at Bank of America, managed the No. 1 consumer online bank, with the most online bankers in the world. He was responsible for growing online customer relationships from less than 3 million to over 22 million online bankers and 11 million bill payers. He also increased online sales dramatically and introduced award winning features such as SiteKey. He also was responsible for delivering capabilities across the largest bank-owned network of more than 17,000 ATMs, such as image deposits.Before joining Bank of America in 2001, Sanjay was Chief Marketing Officer of SciQuest.com, and successfully helped the company go public. Prior to that, Sanjay held a variety of marketing positions at Federal Express, becoming managing director of interactive marketing, ecommerce.Sanjay earned a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Bombay and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in finance and management information systems. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
