As a consultant, Mr. McConnell works with most segments of the marketing communications industry. He serves on boards for stage 1 and 2 technology startups, works as EVP for the Advertising Research Foundation, is retained by high tech media companies to drive product innovation, and helps large Enterprises develop their digital marketing strategies.\r\nHis passion for the web arises from the basic idea that if companies use the tools of digital marketing in ways that truly serve consumers, that all players in the industry will thrive. \r\nMr. McConnell retired from P&G after 32 years. He spent 15 years presiding over digital marketing innovation, partnering with brands and corporate groups to understand how these new methods could work with packaged goods brands. His Innovation related work at P&G included building the first private ad network, and introducing Search, Social Media, and even websites into the Company’s toolkit for Marketing.
