Huntington Names Broker-Dealer Sales Chief

Belinda Sherman has been promoted to president of The Huntington Investment Company, reporting to Steven Short, director of Huntington Wealth Advisors. In her new role as president, Sherman will lead Huntington’s broker/dealer sales initiatives and help guide the bank’s 175 advisors.

The Huntington Investment Company is the broker subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, providing a variety of non-FDIC insured investment products and services to customers.

Sherman has worked for Huntington since 2005 as a regional and national sales manager for The Huntington Investment Company.

“Belinda’s unique set of leadership skills and strong business acumen have been invaluable to Huntington,” said Short. “Her in-depth asset management knowledge and sales expertise will help continue driving revenue, while building even stronger business relationships for The Huntington Investment Company.”
