National Advisors Trust, an RIA-owned trust company with over $7.5 billion in assets under administration, announced Tuesday that it hired that Joseph Morsman as senior vice president of institutional trust.

Morsman was a senior vice president at Benefit Trust Co. Before that, he held executive leadership positions at M&I Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services, and American Century Investment Management.

“Joe is an attorney and CPA with more than 29 years of experience in employee benefits, and is a strong addition to our company and executive team,” said Dave Roberts, president and chief operating officer.

In his new role, Morsman will review pension plan strategies with advisors and be the subject expert on technical IRA questions.

“His expertise and leadership in designing, implementing and administering employee benefit programs will provide advisors with an important and valuable resource, and his overall industry experience will enhance the strength of our organization,” Roberts said.
