While financial advisors helped shepherd client assets through last year’s turbulence, it fell to the branch managers to steer their advisors through the storm.
Between the Eurozone crisis abroad and the fiscal cliff scare at home, an uncertain regulatory environment and constantly changing investment strategies, that was no small task. On Wall Street and New York Life/Mainstay Investments recognize these 100 branch managers for their steadfast leadership, commitment to their advisors, and their ability to recruit and retain talent no matter the circumstances.
Looking at profitability, leadership and success, a panel of judges of industry experts has narrowed the list down to 100 honorees. For 10 of these finalists, this list is a pit stop on their way to the sixth annual list of the Top Ten Branch Managers of the Year, which debuts in print and online in May.
