When I was licensed, I did a lot of retirement training on my own, it wasn't offered. I started out by selling Munis and learned a valuable lesson....how to make capital last. I am now a Financial Counselor, AFC(R) and working my way to a CFP...I couldn't agree more that the good ole boy mentality just isn't cutting it any longer. Thanks for the article.
