Advisors with combined client assets of almost $1 billion have recently moved to UBS, a spokesman said.

Don Donnally and David Greenman left J.P. Morgan to join UBS' Crescent, Texas, office, according to the firm. The duo, operating as the Donnally Group, reports to Dallas branch manager Tommy Stacy.

Both advisors had worked at J.P. Morgan since 2005, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. Donnally, an industry veteran who began his career with Smith Barney in 1969, managed $320 million in assets with nearly $2 million in annual production before making the move, a UBS spokesman said.

Greenman, who also worked 13 years for Citigroup, had overseen $270 million in assets and produced $2.6 million, the spokesman said.

Neil Short also joined UBS from J.P. Morgan, where he oversaw $105 million in assets and generated nearly $1 million in annual production, according to UBS.

Short  joined the firm in Austin, Texas, and reports to complex director Sam Parker. Also with him on the move are members of his team: Candi Trevino, Chris Johnston and Jason Sharpe. Short's career in the industry, which includes stops at Charles Schwab and Merrill Lynch, began in 1999, according to BrokerCheck.

UBS also picked up a second advisor for the Austin office, commodities specialist Matt Streif. Streif, joined the firm from Morgan Stanley, where he managed $94 million in assets and had $1.4 million in annual production, according to UBS.

Like Short, Streif also reports to Parker, the firm's complex director for the Austin office. Streif has been in the industry for 10 years, all of it with Morgan.

A fifth advisor moving to UBS, Mark Hutchinson, joined the firm's Chicago office from Credit Suisse. Hutchinson oversaw $320 million in client assets and had an annual production of $2.23 million while at the firm, according to the UBS.

Hutchinson will report to UBS’ Chicago private wealth management market head Mike Gatewood, and focus on ultrahigh-net worth clients.

Hutchinson began his career with Lehman Brothers 25 years ago. He had been with Morgan for 10 years. Moving with Hutchinson is Sean Moran, a senior wealth strategy associate.
