Ameriprise grabbed four veteran advisors managing over $350 million in assets to its franchise channel last month. Len Clarizio and Tony Sciuto joined the Minneapolis-based firm from American Portfolios Financial Services on July 14. The team has about $114 million in assets under management and is based in Woodland Park, N.J., a suburb of New York.
Clarizio has 35 years of experience in the securities industry, according to FINRA records. He spent six years with American Portfolios and five years with Walnut Street Securities. Sciuto has more than 20 years of experience. He was with American Portfolios for five years.
Louis Ciliberti, a 23-year industry veteran, also joined Ameriprise from American Portfolios on July 21. Prior to his six years with American Portfolios, Ciliberti worked for North Ridge Securities for two years. Based in Melville, N.Y., Ciliberti manages about $150 million dollars in client assets.
Manasquan, N.J.-based advisor Scott Codacovi manages about $100 million in assets under management. He has more than two decades of experience. Prior to joining Ameriprise on July 18, Codacovi was with Park Avenue Securities for seven years. .
