JP Morgan Beefs Up Leadership Team Of Midwest Private Bank

Doug Regan has joined J.P. Morgan as the head of its private bank's Midwest region. Regan will be based in Chicago and have responsibility for a region that spans 11 states. He also will be part of JPMorgan Chase's Midwest Operating Committee.

"We are delighted to have Doug join the J.P. Morgan team," said John Duffy, CEO of J.P. Morgan's U.S. Private Bank, in a press release. "His nearly three decades of industry experience and deep roots in the Midwest will greatly benefit our clients and colleagues throughout the region."

Regan joins J.P. Morgan from Northern Trust, where he held a variety of leadership positions over 27 years. Most recently, he was global director of Sales and Marketing.

He also had been president of the Wealth Management Group, chairman and CEO of the South Region, and president of the Palm Beach and Martin County Region in Florida. Earlier, he held roles in the Trust and Banking Departments in Chicago and Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

J.P. Morgan also announced the appointment of Chris Deveny to Chairman of the Midwest Private Bank.
