RJFS Compliance Chief Resigns

Donald Runkle, who spent nearly 11 years as Raymond James Financial Services' chief compliance officer amid two decades with the independent broker-dealer, has left the firm.

A gentlemanly exit is the honorable way to go.

There are several disturbing FINRA Arbitration rulings against top advisors held in the highest regard in the industry who were induced to join RJ under false representations that ruined their businesses and have resulted in their bankruptcy. RJ is first rate at the top, this development should be viewed as an opportunity to better support advisors and advisory service and reining in rogue managers making recruiting representations which are inconsistent with the values long embrace by RJ and the professional standing of the advisor.
