Bank of America Merrill Lynch has introduced an iPad application for its corporate treasury clients using the online payment and invoicing system, Paymode-X.

The iPad app release is the first phase of a set of mobile capabilities that Merrill Lynch will offer with Bottomline Technologies.

Paymode-X, powered by Bottomline, combines electronic purchase order submission, invoicing and payment settlement on a single platform. It connects users to a private network of suppliers that accept electronic payments and send electronic invoices.

This Paymode-X iPad app will allow executives to view the status of payments, review payment remittances details and search for payments or invoices.
