RBC Wealth Management has added four new advisors to its ranks, bringing its recruiting total to 266 over the past seven months, compared to 157 for the previous full fiscal year.
Wes Johnson joined the firm’s Syracuse, N.Y., branch. A 20-year UBS veteran, Johnson previously oversaw $145 million of client assets and generated $775,000 in fees and commissions.
RBC also recruited a $2.4 million team from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. The ‘Turnbridge Group’ consisting of financial advisors Tim Engle, Brian Fields and Mark Snyder joined the Lemoyne, Penn., office. The team came from the Smith Barney side of the new joint venture and previously oversaw $250 million in client assets. All three advisors started their careers at Legg Mason, which was acquired by Smith Barney in 2006.
