A Reverse Mortgage if used properly in conjunction with your current financial plan is an incredibly effective tool to grow and extend the life of your portfolio. Don't take my word, do your DD. Look up John Salter PHD at Texas Tech University's School of Financial Planning. After doing exhaustive testing on a thousand Baby Boomer's mock portfolio's he concluded that when used correctly along with your current financial plan your retirement capital would be vastly extended.
