Webster Bank has added two individuals to its team of private bankers. Bank veteran Chris Martin was named senior vice president and senior private banker serving Western Connecticut. Caryn Cosentini joined the team in the same capacity from Fieldpoint Private Bank and Trust in Greenwich, Conn. She will serve customers in the Westchester County and metro New York areas.

Both Martin and Cosentini will provide individuals with banking, lending, investment and planning services, the bank said in a statement. In addition, they will provide institutional asset management for middle market corporations and non-profits.

Martin has been with Webster Bank since 1982, serving as a financial advisor and investment banker. During that time, he established Webster’s Government and Institutional Banking Group. Prior to joining Webster, Martin worked in similar capacities for Paine Webber, Bank Boston and Fleet Securities.

Cosentini served as managing director and private banker at Fieldpoint Private Bank and Trust. Prior to that, she held similar positions at both JPMorgan and Bank of America. She has more than 20 years of industry experience and has been building private banking relationships for more than 10 years, according to Webster Bank.

“We are thrilled to have Chris and Caryn bring their deep knowledge and experience to our strong team of Webster private bankers,” Dave Dixon, senior vice president and director of Webster Private Bank, said in a statement.
