Eduardo Queen joins Wells Fargo Advisors as strategy director for the brokerage business. Queen joins the firm after seven years at Citi and Smith Barney, where he focused on the high net worth and mass affluent client markets, and three years as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. He is based in St. Louis.
Bob McCarthy has been promoted to the new position of director of regulatory policy for wealth, brokerage and retirement. McCarthy previously served as director of regulatory compliance at Wells Fargo Advisors. In his new role, McCarthy is tasked with managing the brokerage regulatory policy and making sure it is consistent with the larger Wealth Brokerage Retirement group unit, which Wells Fargo Advisors falls under.
Diane Gabriel has been promoted to head the Wells Fargo Advisors' WellsTrade business that targets individual investors. She comes to that role after serving as managing director of the firm's branch network for its independent brokerage business, Financial Network. In her new role, Gabriel will oversee the brokerage business's online trading platform.
