This is a clear example of how prevalent the social media really is. Banks can definitely utilise this media for introducing and explaining new products, clearing the air regarding some controversy, announcing tie-ups/ mergers/ amalgamations, discontinuing a product or service and the like. Social media is here to stay and we need to utilise it responsibly.
