WIREHOUSES

Bardhy Quku has left Morgan Stanley for the New York City office of UBS. He previously generated $1.8 million in production on $185 million of client assets.

Morgan Stanley has hired John Wachs to join its Wauwatosa, Wis., office. He comes from Baird where he generated $1.17 million on assets of $225 million.

UBS has hired Conley Thornhill, Mark Williams and Eric Johnson to join its Tampa, Fla., office. The team comes from Morgan Stanley where it oversaw $235 million in assets and generated $3.2 million in production.

Smith Barney has recruited David Ferris to join its office in Bethesda, Md. He comes from Ferris, Baker, Watts where he generated $2.3 million on $82 million of client assets.

Jeffrey McDonald has jumped from Smith Barney to Morgan Stanley in East Lake, Fla. He oversaw $196 million in client assets and generated $1.8 million in fees and commissions.

Wachovia Securities has recruited Gary and Steven Sinderbrand to join its Park Avenue, New York City branch. They come from UBS Private Wealth where they oversaw $189 million in client assets and generated $2 million in production each.

In Carmel, Calif., Philip Cohl and Tawnee Hosick have left Smith Barney to join UBS. The pair oversaw $220 million of assets and generated $1.3 million in fees and commissions.

Gregory Rose and Robert Twardos have left Merrill Lynch to join Morgan Stanley in Alpharetta, Ga. They have a combined production of $1.9 million on assets of $232 million.

The $5 million team of Glen Mintz and Frank Ackerman has left Bear Stearns/JP Morgan to join UBS. Mintz joins the Park City, Utah office and Ackerman joins the New York City office. The pair previously oversaw $345 million in client assets. Ackerman spent 24 years and Mintz spent 12 years at Bear Stearns.

Daniel Klein has left UBS to join Wachovia Securities in Montecito, Calif. Klein spent nearly 14 years at UBS where he generated $1.4 million on assets of $199 million.

In Knoxville, Tenn., Andy Venable, Lance Pruitt and Ryan Kelly have jumped from UBS to Smith Barney. The team previously managed assets of $314 million and generated $2.5 million in production.

Stephen Park has jumped from A.G. Edwards to the Vienna, Va. office of UBS. He previously generated $1.3 million on $119 million of client assets.

Morgan Stanley has recruited an $8 million team from Smith Barney. Manuel Uranga and Ruben Lerner joined Morgan's Latin America office on Fifth Avenue, New York City. They oversaw $318 million in client assets. Uranga spent 10 years and Lerner spent five and a half years at Smith Barney.

Christine Munn has jumped from MB Investment Partners to join UBS in New York. She previously generated $1.5 million on client assets of $200 million.

In Red Bank, N.J., Edmund Dileone, Brad Seamon and Tony Bellomo have moved from Merrill Lynch to UBS. They generated a combined $1.85 million on assets of $190 million.

Wachovia Securities has hired Thomas Chiaravalloti to join its Toms River, N.J., office. He comes from Morgan Stanley where he oversaw $112 million in client assets and generated $561,000 in fees and commissions.

UBS has recruited Miguel Hernandez to join its San Juan, Puerto Rico office. He comes from Santander where he oversaw $247 million in client assets and generated $2.3 million in fees and commissions.

Wachovia has hired Bill Bourbeau to head its ultra-high-net-worth business in Florida. He joins from Bank of America where he was the Florida head of its premier banking and investment group.


REGIONALS

RBC Wealth Management recruited John McGinnis, Patricia Reno and Curt Beyer to its new office in Escondido, Calif., from Merrill Lynch. The team oversaw $500 million in client assets and generated $2.2 million in fees and commissions.

Michael Abramson has joined RBC Wealth Management in Duluth, Minn. He comes from Merrill Lynch, where he spent 16 years and generated $1.1 million on assets of more than $200 million.


PRIVATE BANKS

Michael G. Robinson was named as head of the private client business for JPMorgan in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

Katie LeGardeur was appointed to the post of market manager for the private client business in New Orleans, La. for JPMorgan. She joined the firm in 1996 and became a private banker in 2000.
