UBS Wealth Management Americas recently announced several new hires. David Winchell joined the Las Vegas office from Merrill Lynch; he previously had $119 million in assets and $1.2 million in annual production. Marvin Griffin was recruited from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to the Sugarland, Texas branch. He managed $102 million in assets and generated up to $1 million in fees and commissions.

Paul Gilman and Marshall Hagen joined UBS in New York from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. They oversaw $296 million in assets and had $2.6 million in fees and commissions.

Meanwhile, Wells Fargo also had several new hires. Stephen Zahka joined the Wellesley, Mass., office from Merrill Lynch where he oversaw $62 million in assets and had $477,000 in production.

Jeremiah McNamara joined the Red Bank, N.J. office from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney where he oversaw $87 million in assets and had $689,000 in fees and commissions. Robert Traina joined in Liberty Plaza, N.Y. from HSBC where he previously managed $203 million in client assets and had $685,000 in annual production. Michael J. Sharenow was recruited to the Morristown, N.J. office from RBC with $235 million in client assets and annual production of $929,000.
