Morgan Stanley Smith Barney hired three financial advisor teams with more than $1.36 billion in client assets from UBS and Deutsche Bank Securities. The largest producing team of those hires includes Jonathan Klausner and John Duffy in Indianapolis. They join from UBS, where they had $650 million in client assets under management and $4 million in annual fees and commissions.

Ameriprise Financial has hired Charles Hart, who has served as an independent advisor since 1982, to its employee broker-dealer division. Hart joins from VSR Financial Services, where he oversaw $114 million in assets.

Barclays has hired John Houlihan as a director and regional manager for its Atlanta office. Houlihan comes from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he served for about 20 years, most recently in management roles in the Atlanta region.
