Morgan Stanley recruited two advisors who managed almost $120 million in client assets while at Wells Fargo Advisors, according to a Morgan spokeswoman.
Advisors Jonathan Hill and John Oberg generated almost $1.3 million in annual revenue while working for Wells, the spokeswoman said.
The two advisors joined Morgan in Tyler, Texas. They report to Melissa Shanhouse, branch manager, and Christopher Barton, complex manager.
Hill and Oberg started their financial services careers at Credit Suisse in 1999 and 2000 respectively, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. They stayed through that firm's merger with Wells Fargo.
Recently, Morgan said it had recruited a Credit Suisse team that managed more than $350 million in client assets. Advisors Andrew Kaskel, David Cundey, Burt Hilton and Scott Quinto joined the wirehouse's New York office.
