D.A. Davidson is building out its coaching and mentoring staff to help advisors with financial planning for clients.
The Great Falls, Mont.-based firm hired Steve Condon as co-director of wealth planning and April Zee as associate director of wealth planning, the firm said. Davidson also promoted Daryl Geffken to manage the wealth planning resource group.
Along with Co-Director Hedley Greene, Condon will oversee a team that helps the firm's roughly 400 advisors provide holistic financial planning to their clients.
Condon joins Davidson in Seattle from the Corundum Group, a multi-family office based in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Zee joins the regional firm from Union Bank. In her new role, she provides planning services to the firm's advisors and is based in the Los Angeles office of Crowell, Weedon & Co., a division of D.A. Davidson.
Geffken, who has been with Davidson since July 2014, will now provide technical support to advisors, including training and assistance in using the firm's planning software. He is based in Spokane, Wash.
