JPMorgan Chase & Co. has recently recruited Michael O’Brien, a former BlackRock executive to head the company’s institutional sales globally.
As part of the firm¹s international expansion efforts, O¹Brien is set to start in the newly created position in September, J.P Morgan said in a statement. O¹Brien will report to Mary Callahan Erdoes, chief executive officer of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Before taking on this new role, Erdoes was most recently CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, according to a company's spokesperson.
