Lebenthal continues its growth track this week, acquiring an RIA with $250 million in assets and adding a two-person advisor team to its wealth management division.

Lebenthal's asset management division on Monday  announced the acquisition of Aurora Investment Counsel, an Atlanta-based RIA that services foundations, endowments, corporations and individuals.

The firm is led by David Yucius, Jr., president and portfolio manager, and Michael Doyle, director of marketing.

"We are excited to be able to build off of the added strengths of Lebenthal’s personnel, and also to see Aurora’s investment approach become deliverable to a broader audience via Lebenthal’s platform and product extensions," Yucius said in a statement.

Also, Lebenthal's one-year old wealth management division today said it had recruited a two-person advisor team.

Advisors Annette Hall and Charlene Fisher joined the New York office of Lebenthal Wealth Advisors, which serves high-net-worth and institutional clients. Hall was previously a vice president and relationship manager at Key Private Bank where she oversaw $193 million in assets under management, according to a statement from Lebenthal.

Fisher was a co-founder and president of an independent film distribution, finance and marketing company.

Lebenthal last recruited advisors in November. Independent advisors Brent Lee and Brion Norby partnered with a Clay Skurdal to join Lebenthal in Williston, N.D.
