Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has snapped up four financial advisors from Wells Fargo Advisors and Merrill Lynch.
In Cary, N.C., three-member team Lou Popielarcheck, Jr., Kristen Yablonsky and Michael T. Jordan join from Wells Fargo. Together, they previously had $1.32 million in annual fees and commissions and $135 million in client assets under management. They report to branch manager Michael Lingner.
Popielarcheck joins Morgan Stanley after almost ten years at Wells Fargo, according to his public registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Prior to that, he also served at Wachovia Securities, NYLife Securites, and AAG Securities.
Yablonsky had served at Wells Fargo from July 2004, and was previously registered with UBS. Jordan had been registered with Wells Fargo since June 2007.
In Los Angeles, Kelly Caves joins from Merrill Lynch, where she generated $1.1 million in fees and commissions. She reports to Los Angeles complex manager Gregory Laetsch.
Caves joins Morgan Stanley after more than 17 years at Merrill Lynch, according to her FINRA registration records. Prior to that, she also served at Smith Barney and Lehman Brothers.
