Financial advisor Kyle Gearhart along with several associates has left Merrill Lynch for greener pastures at Raymond James.
At Merrill, Gearhart managed more than $300 million in client assets and brought in $2.2 annually in new business. He has joined Raymond James Cincinnati office.
It is a pleasure to welcome Kyle to Raymond James, Tash Elwyn, the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firms president, said in a statement. He brings a valuable combination of knowledge and experience. His client-first attitude and practice align with our values and culture, and we look forward to providing support to him and his clients.
For his part, Gearhart says there were two main reasons why he chose to join Raymond James. First, there is flexibility. I feel that I can truly do what is right for my clients. Second, there is access not only to outstanding research, but also to senior leadership.
Gearhart worked at Merrill as an advisor for 19 years, and before that at PNC Bank and Central Trust, as an analyst. He has degrees in economics and finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
