Stifel Nicolaus has opened a new private client office in Madison, Conn., with the addition of advisors William Fusco, Robert Richard and Patricia Walsh who will all be vice presidents/investments.

"The Madison office is a great addition to Stifel, and I'm very happy to bring on advisors with such great reputations in the community," New England manager, Michael LeClair, said. "I look forward to continuing to build a presence in this shoreline community."

All three are longstanding industry veterans and come from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. The team of Fusco and Richard has a combined 50 years of experience and managed $150 million in client assets. Individually, Walsh brings 25 years of investment experience, and she has $127 in AUM.

The Madison office will be Stifel's fifth in Connecticut.

Overall, the St. Louis-based firm has brought on 41 so far this year as of June 30th, bringing its total to 2,028 for the end of the second quarter. The firm has pulled a number of big producers from larger firms this year including a $108 million team from Wells Fargo.
