UBS Wealth Management Americas has hired six new financial advisors including one Merrill Lynch team who produced $4 million and oversaw $750 million in client assets.
That team named the Eubanks Lappin Group includes Steve Eubanks and Michael Lappin, who join UBS in Raleigh, N.C. Both Eubanks and Lappin were ranked on Barron’s Top 1000 list last year while they were still at Merrill Lynch. They now report to UBS executive director and complex director Karl Ruppert.
In New York, David Shorr now serves as senior vice president after joining from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he had about $2.8 million in annual fees and commissions and more than $355 million in client assets under management. Shorr reports to UBS Managing Director Mara Glassel.
In Birmingham, Mich., brothers Stephen R. Trudeau, who now serves as senior vice president, and David Trudeau, associate vice president, join from Merrill Lynch. They operate under the name Trudeau Group and report to branch manager Tod Winkler.
In Dallas, Steve Owen joins as senior vice president from Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Owen reports to UBS Director and Branch Manager Michael Wesbrooks.
Production and assets under management were not disclosed for the Trudeau Group and Owen.
